I am a multi-disciplinary artist…my art could be a multi medium sketch, watercolour/gouache painting or pen & pixel illustration. My favourite subjects are anything mechanical, architectural, or complicated. And the homeless of course. I like to create in a photorealistic style inspired by my favourite artist Norman Rockwell in watercolour or digital illustration. My urban sketches are done in markers, watercolour or pencil crayon or sometimes all three.
i’ve been creating on the iPad for about 5 years now, where I can illustrate digital works in a realistic style, or a gouache defined style. My background of over 40 years in graphic design really helped with this digital crossover. Recent watercolour paintings are done with some salt throwing, sponge dabbing & water droplet splashing.
I hope that you enjoy my art and come to see me and my work in person at shows or exhibitions in Southern Ontario. I love to tell stories about my art.
I am a member of the Art District Gallery and The Kitchener-Waterloo Society of Artists
